About The Expert

Marianne works with corporate and non-profit leaders to develop communications strategies that build business relationships up, down, across and outside corporate lines. She helps organizations keep good employees, and develop high-performing teams and individuals.

Marianne spent over 20 years in Corporate Communications where she held positions as; Producer and Director, Communications Consultant, Creative Director, and Manager. She started her business as a Communications Strategist in 1998.

Marianne consults with her clients and develops customized workshops and presentations based on the client's needs. Her presentations range from one-hour speeches for corporate and association conferences to multiple-day workshops.

Her topics center on understanding yourself, understanding others, and building collaborative relationships with others.

She specializes in; individual personal development, leadership development, interpersonal communications skills, and team leading.

All Marianne’s workshops are informal and highly interactive. The unique characteristic of her workshops is that she uses practical activities and exercises so participants can apply what they learn immediately.

Marianne is accredited to deliver a highly sophisticated psychological assessment tool, Insights Discovery, which she uses in many of her workshops. The profile gives a very accurate depiction of a person’s behavior style, communications style, strengths, weaknesses and management style. Insights is fairly new to the United States and is available only through a few accredited Insights Consultants.

Marianne is a graduate of Moorhead State University in Minnesota with a degree in Communications and a minor in Zoology. Since she graduated, she has studied and done advanced work in creative development, creative problem solving, marketing communications, psychological types, and interpersonal communications.

Marianne is a member of; Communications Media Managers Association, Rotary International, The International Association of Correctional Training Personnel (IACTP), and The Minnesota High Tech Association. She serves on the board of the Professional Sales Association, and is an active supporter for Prevent Child Abuse Minnesota.
